Life After Loss

Dear Creator Diary,

Life holds enough quiet ways to unravel the plans we carefully craft.

This time, the silence came from within. I had forgotten how grief settles softly, like fog resting on tired shoulders. How it gently blurs everything once sharp into muted shades of grey.

If not for the gentle pull of obligations. The quiet promises whispered to those who depend on me. I might simply step away for a while. Press pause, catch my breath, and rest.

Yet life does not pause, even as my heart begs for stillness.

This ache has awakened something deep inside me. A quiet need to build softness into the rhythm of my days, to hold gentle spaces for moments I cannot foresee.

I’ve watched friends step away, slowing their pace, gifting themselves rest. Now, more than ever, I wonder what it might mean to pause without ending, to breathe without breaking the bonds we've carefully woven.

The sadness is tender, heavy with truths I did not choose. Yet somehow, it shares space with hope. The anticipation of brighter days, still unseen.

Truly,

Life After Loss
